No time for lunch, sport or hobbies? Do you work 24/7? Tired of losing money and time when students cancel right before the lesson? Lost count of your students? Tired of 'accounting' in excel or on paper? Did you say 'yes'? How many times? Let's talk!
I can't solve these problems for you in 1 webinar, but I can explain how I solved them for myself and share my favourite tools and tricks. I'm going to talk about the basics of self-management, setting the price for your lessons, and managing the database of your students.
What is a learning environment? Some educators merely refer to it as a physical location, such as a classroom with rows of desks and a chalkboard. But in fact, learning environment encompasses many more notions which directly or indirectly influence students' engagement, motivation and progress. It includes contexts and cultures, modes of interaction and sources of ideas. Obviously, the success of an educational process depends on the educational setting facilitating learning. That is why, nowadays the most efficacious educational companies and publishers do not just offer a course book, but provide a solution for creating a highly effective learning environment.
Let's get together to explore the two of such models for secondary-school students and young professionals.

Young Learners (7-12 y.o.) teaching is usually associated with «changing activities» and «fun games». Is that really all there is? In this workshop we will explore teaching English to children from 7 to 12, talk about supporting children's natural curiosity with clear and challenging activities, engaging children in the learning process through meaningful and holistic tasks. We will share our ideas and experiences and practice adapting and creating attractive tasks for young learners to see what – apart from games – can motivate and engage children learning English. This online workshop will be of interest for both experienced and new teachers of young learners, less – for teachers working with adults. Although certain ideas seem transferable, the content we'll work with during the webinar will be that of Young Learners.

All too often in the field of education, we look for quick fixes. We invest in technology, halve class sizes, jump on bandwagons, and so on. Yet increasingly the research shows that what makes the biggest difference is teachers and what we do in class. Come and along and find out how to maximize your students learning.
The last days of school, when sun is shining and the only fun classrooms can offer is called "exams", every teacher at least once heard this word "boooooooring!" Whole Brain Teaching - is a new method in ELT. It came from the USA as a way to deal with kids that are not that eager to study. The more I teach my students, the better I understand the depth of this method. Gamification, group and pair work, classroom management, you name it. Pressed in time, I will talk about the the basics of WBT and share my experience with you

Fluency is what most of our students are after. And they want to feel progress from an early stage of their learning process. It is not an unreachable goal at all, even at lower levels. Fluency implies instincts, reflexes in a language. This is a key part of language learning. And teachers, such as yourself, are the best, most reliable tool students have to achieve fluency. How can we build students up to fluency? By distracting their brains with fun and interesting activities whilst drilling in reflexes that they will later rely on. In his talk, Antoine will go over types of activities that teachers can use to build up fluency in their students. The work of the teacher is simpler. The results and satisfaction of the students are better.
You will learn: - how to surprise students at the lesson, - what we can do to create students focused environment, - what games can be played outside. We will walk around summer immersion course premises and peep in the most interesting places

Most English teachers have heard about Cuisenaire Rods, but there is not much information about how to use them. They are often believed to be a tool for teaching young learners but they are, in fact, much more than that. Rods can be used to teach any age group or level. In this webinar, you will be shown a wide range of activities that involve Rods and that you can introduce to your classroom: for teaching vocabulary, grammar, listening and even writing.
