Surprisingly, the syndrome usually hits the high achievers. It does not only affects the teacher’s mental condition, but the learners suffer from it too. The Imposter Syndrome can’t be cured completely, as it is not even a disease, but we can learn how to use it for our benefit. I’ll share simple but effective techniques that help me and my students deal with it.</h7>

They’ve learned that asking a question might make them look foolish, slow down the class, or even upset the teacher. That’s why our students who live in an informational hyper-saturated world so often tell us they’re not interested in anything. <br>But we still can make a difference. Culture of curiosity is a cornerstone of the student’s interest and motivation. And a properly asked question is a solid scaffold to help them ascend higher levels of thinking - keeping in mind that there are no two classes alike!<br>We’re going to discuss a couple of easy yet powerful tools that will naturally unlock endless opportunities for every curious mind in your classroom!</h7>

Thus, they do not understand the meaning of the piece they just heard. Unfortunately, just listening to the audio several times won’t help. If one of your aims is to improve your students’ listening skills, then Masha’s talk might be a big help.<br>Masha shows how to approach listening with Young Learners and focuses on key principles of teaching listening to kids lexically. She also talks about how to help students understand and hear more language and how to make more out of common listening tasks.</h7>
